Community Groups

These groups are a fantastic way to plug into your relationship with Jesus and His church.  In these groups you'll form fun and encouraging friendships while encountering the Truth of God's Word. Joining one of these communities helps mobilize and equip you to "set captives free" with team of people at your side.  These are also the breeding grounds for our discipleship groups.

These groups are specialized communities designed to engage you in deep and authentic relationships with 3-4 people of the same gender.  The goal of these groups is to live out Jesus' command to "teach each other to obey" everything He's commanded us to do.  The friendships you form with people in these group help encourage, challenge, and support you as you continue on your journey with Christ.

If you are new to Tucson and the University sign up for a mentor to help you get settled in.  We want to make sure our church provides you with the support you need to be successful both in your college career and life.

Balcony Classroom, First Southern Baptist Church

Thrive is our breakfast and bible study large group meeting.  This is the best place to connect with college age people in our church and find out what is going on on campus and in our church.

Help us set up the Priority table on the UofA mall and meet new.  Invite others to become part of our church family at First Southern Baptist Church.  You know it'll be freaky fun cause Deborah Lock will be there!
